- MacMurray, Fred and June Haver - MacMurray was an honored actor (Double Indemnity, My Three Sons) who adopted twin girls (Laurie and Kate), born in 1956. MacMurray died in 1991. Haver was an actress and singer who passed away in 2005
- Maggert, Jeff - (born Aug. 10, 2004) - Three-time PGA Tour winner who is the father of boy/girl twins, Jake and Madeline
- Maguire, Martie - (born April 27, 2004) - Performer in the Dixie Chicks. Gave birth to twin girls, Eva and Kathleen

- McKeehan, Toby - Christian pop performer who has had numerous hits as part of group DC Talk and as solo artist (tobyMac). He and his wife Amanda adopted mixed race twins, Moses and Marlee, in 2002. They also have three other children

- Mora, Melvin - (born July 28, 2001) - Only professional athlete in sports who is also the father of quintuplets. Two-time MLB All-Star (2003 & 2005). His wife, Gisel, delivered quints (3 girls, 2 boys), Jada Priscilla, Rebekah Alesha, Genesis Raquel, Christian Emmanuel, and Matthew David at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore. Mora had a five-hit game in the majors, one for each quint, on May 25, 2003
- Moriarity, Cathy - (born Sept. 11, 2000) - Academy-Award nominated actress (Raging Bull). Gave birth to fraternal twins Catherine and Joseph shortly before her 40th birthday and a single girl 14 months later

- Nash, Steve- (born Oct. 14, 2004) - Two-time NBA MVP (2005, 2006) who is the father of twin girls, Lola and Bella, born to Nash and his then-girlfriend, Alejandra Amarilla, in his NBA city of Phoenix (the couple has since gotten married). Five-time NBA All-Star and NBA Assists leader in 2005, 06 and 07, the 8th time in the last nine years a dad of twins (or future dad of twins) led the NBA in assists

- Nena and Benedict Freitag - (born April 7, 1990) - Parents of twin boy/girls, Sakias Manuel and Larissa Maria, Nena is a German musician best known for her song 99 Neufballoons while Freitag is a Swiss-born actor from a heralded acting family. - Ojakli, Ziad - Former Deputy Assistant and Principal Deputy for Legislative Affairs to President George W. Bush (2001-03) who is now serving as executive for Ford Motors. Has boy/girl twins, Josephine and Virginia
- Olson, Greg and Lissa - (born April 29, 2004) - Greg Olson is the offensive coordinator of the St. Louis Rams and has also coached for the Detroit Lions, San Francisco 49ers and Chicago Bears. His wife Lissa was formerly the head men's and women's track and field coach at Purdue University (2002-2004) before resigning to be a full-time mom to twins Kenneth and Grayce

- Pauley, Jane and Garry Trudeau - TV news host and cartoonist (Doonesbury) are parents of boy-girl twins, Ross and Rachel, born in 1985
- Pavarotti, Luciano - (born Jan. 14, 2004) - He and his partner had boy/girl twins but the boy (Riccardo) died at birth. The girl (Alice) survived. Pavarotti was 67 at the time of their birth and his partner was 34. Pavarotti passed away on September 6, 2007
- Pele - (born Sept. 28, 1996) - Often thought of as world's greatest soccer ambassador, the Brazilian soccer star had boy/girl twins, Johnny and Celesta, when he was 56
- Peete Robinson, Holly and Rodney - (born Oct. 19, 1997) - Actress (21 Jump Street) who with ex-NFL QB husband Rodney, has boy-girl twins, Rodney Jr., (RJ) and Ryan. RJ has autism, a subject discussed by Holly in a June 4, 2007 issue of People Magazine
- Petrie, Daniel - Prolific director/producer (A Raisin in the Sun, many TV films) who had twin daughters, Mary and June, who are also in the film industry. Petrie passed away in 2004
- Pettit, Donald - NASA Astronaut (served on a 4-month mission on the International Space Station in late 2002-early 2003). Missed his twin sons' two-year-old birthday while he was up in space
- Pointer, Ruth - Oldest member of the Pointer Sisters rock group, had twins, Alison and Conor, at the age of 47 in 1994, almost 30 years after her first child

- Preminger, Otto - (born Oct. 3, 1960) - Film director (Laura, Anatomy of a Murder) and occasional actor (Mr. Freeze in TV's Batman) with boy/girl twins, Mark and Victoria. Mother was Hope Bryce and their parents married when the twins were 11. Preminger died in 1986

- Racamier, Henry - (born Dec. 12, 1946) - French businessman and benefactor who formed Louis Vuitton luggage company into a world leader. Died in 2003 at the age of 90. Had grown twin daughters, Caroline Bentz and Laurence Fontaine
- Ramsey, George - (born Feb. 27, 2003) - One of England's most famous chefs. Has boy/girl twins, Jack and Holly
- Reid, Tara - Model/Actress - older sister of boy-girl twins, Patrick and Colleen, born in 1982
- Rich, Christopher and Eva Halina - (born March 30, 2004) - Actor Christopher Rich (Murphy Brown, Reba) and his wife Eva (former Miss Poland and a gymnast in the 1980 Olympics) had twin girls Lily Hanna and Daisy Grace on March 30, 2004
- Richards, Ann - Former Texas Governor (1991-95, succeeded in office by dad of twins, George W. Bush) had twin granddaughters whose mom, Cecile, is the President of the Planned Parenthood Federation of America. Mrs. Richards passed away in 2006 at age 73

- Righetti, Dave - (born July 19, 1991) - Baseball Rookie of the Year who pitched both a no-hitter (July 4, 1983) and led the league in saves (1986). Dad of triplets, Nicolette, Natalee and Wesley. One of his girls is hard-of-hearing and has a cochlear implant. Has been SF Giants pitching coach since 1990
- Rimsza, Skip - (born June 6, 1996) - Former Mayor of Phoenix from 1994-2004. Also ran unsuccessful campaign for Arizona Secretary of State in 2006. Father to triplet girls, Alexander, Taylor and Nicole
- Ritter, Scott - Ex-U.N. arms inspector in Iraq who was later critical of the U.S. foreign policy in the Middle East and one of the first individuals to claim Iraq did not have weapons of mass destruction. Father of identical twin girls, Patricia and Victoria, who were born in 1993
- Roberts, Julia - (born Nov. 28, 2004) - Popular, award-winning movie actress (Pretty Woman, Erin Brockovich, Steel Magnolias) who gave birth to boy/girl twins Phinneas and Hazel. They were born at about 36 weeks and weighed roughly 5 pounds each. Took several years off from appearing in movies after birth of twins but due to return to big screen in late 2007
- Robinson, Emily - (born April 14, 2005) - Member of the musical group, Dixie Chicks. Has a boy/girl set of twins, Julianna and Henry. Her sister Martie Maguire, also a member of the Dixie Chicks, also has twins
- Rockefeller, Nelson - Vice President of U.S. (1974-77) and Governor of New York (1959-73) who was father to twins Mary and Michael, born in 1938. Michael disappeared in New Guinea on a trip in November, 1961 under mysterious circumstances and is presumed to have died in the jungle
- Roe, Mark - (born Oct. 6, 2000) - European PGA golfer. Has twin daughters, Alexandra and Emily
- Rogers, Kenny - (born July 6, 2004) - Became a dad of twins at age 62 as the country-western singer and his wife have identical twin sons, Justin and Jordan, born in Atlanta
- Rohrabacher, Dana - (born Apr. 27, 2004) - Influential nine-term Californian Republican Congressman, who along with his wife Shannon, are the parents of triplets, Annika, Christian and Tristen
- Romano, Ray - (born Jan. 13, 1993) - Actor with twins in both real-life (sons Matt & Greg) and on his former TV show Everybody Loves Raymond
- Roof, Ted - Duke University head football coach since December 6, 2003 (he was the interim coach the last five games of the 2003 season) and the Blue Devils are 4-35 (entering 2007 season) during his tenure. Has twin sons, Terrence Davis and Michael Edwin, born in 1999
- Rosen, Hilary - Chairman and CEO of the Recording Industry Association of America. She and her life partner have twins born in Jan, 2003

- Sakic, Joe - NHL's active scoring leader at end of 06-07 season (fell to 2nd place following 07-08 season) and 9th on all-time scoring list, he is the dad of boy/girl twins, Chase and Kamryn, who were born in 2000. Sakic was voted the NHL MVP in 2001, has won two Stanley Cups, been voted to 13 NHL All-Star Games and is a three-time Canadian Olympian, helping to lead Canada to the Gold Medal in the 2002 Winter Olympics

- Sandra and Cretu, Michael - (born July 6, 1995) - Popular German singer and producer husband who are parents to boy/girl twins Sebastian and Nikita. Her biggest hit, Maria Magdalena, reached #1 in 21 countries in 1985 while its follow-up single, In the Heat of the Night, reached #2 on the German charts (#1 song at the time was Elton John's Nikita, later the name selected for their daughter)
- Santiago-Hudson, Ruben - Tony Award-winning actor also known for his movies and TV roles (All My Children). He and wife Leanne have boy-girl twins, Trey and Lily (born 1996?)
- Saunders, Flip - Head basketball coach of the Detroit Pistons and former head coach of the Minnesota Timberwolves. Has teenage twin daughters, daughters, Rachel and Kim, who have appeared on TV's Star Search as dancers (they were eliminated late in the 2003 season to the St. Louis Hoofers Club)
- Schwartz, Jim - Defensive coordinator of the NFL's Tennessee Titans. Has boy/girl twins, Christian and Allison
- Scott, Dougray - Scottish actor (Mission Impossible II, Desperate Housewives) who is the father of boy/girl twins, Eden and Gabriel, born in early 1998
- Seymour, Jane and Stacy Keach - (born Nov. 30, 1995) - Have twin boys Johnny and Kris (named after pair of late family friends, Johnny Cash and Christopher Reeve)
- Shakespeare, William - The Bard was the father of boy/girl twins, Hamnet and Judith. The twins were baptised on February 2, 1585 and Hamnet died in 1596. At least two of his plays (A Comedy of Errors and The Twelfth Night) featured twins as significant plot elements.
- Shanahan, Brendan - (born Nov. 23, 2002) - NHL's active goals leader (as of end of 07-08 season) and 24th on all-time scoring list, he is the dad of boy/girl twins, Jack and Maggie. An 8-time NHL All-Star and winner of 3 Stanley Cups. Teammate with fellow dad of twins, Joe Sakic, on Canada's Gold-Medal winning Olympic hockey squad in 2002
- Shepherd, Cybill - (born Oct. 6, 1987) - Had twin boys (Ariel and Zachariah) with ex-husband Bruce Oppenheim, born during the middle of her Moonlighting TV series
- Siegel, James - Ad executive (BBDO Agency) and author (Epitaph, Derailed) who has grown twin daughters, Alexa and Joelle
- Spector, Phil and Ronnie - (born May 12, 1966) - An inductee into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for his music producing and writing, Phil Spector and his musician wife, Ronnie (lead singer of the Ronettes and married to Phil from 1968-74), adopted twin sons, Louis and Gary in 1972. The bizarre raising of the twin brothers by their dad was featured on TV's Inside Edition in May, 2007 shortly after his trial for the 2003 shooting death of Lana Clarkson began. Phil Spector and his third wife, Janice Zavala, also had a set of twins, Nicole and Phillip, who were both born in 1982. Phillip died on Christmas Day, 1991, of Leukemia
- Spurrier, Steve, Jr. - (born Jan. 10, 2000) - Wide receiver coach for the University of South Carolina and son of head coach Steve Spurrier. Has triplets, sons Gavin and Luke, and daughter Emma
- Steelman, Alan - Former U.S. Congressman from Texas (1973-77) and current venture capitalist and political consultant who lives in Dallas. Has grown boy/girl twins, Alan, Jr. and Allison
- Stewart, James - Extremely popular actor (It's a Wonderful Life, Vertigo, Harvey, Rear Window, The Philadelphia Story, Mr. Smith Goes to Washington) who had twin daughters (Kelly and July, born 1951), who used to appear on the TV game show Password with him. Stewart died in 1997

- Swift, Jane - (born May 15, 2001) - First United States Governor in history ever to give birth to twins while in office. Her daughters, Lauren and Sydney, were born a little more than a month after she assumed the chief executive position in Massachusetts. Her successor as Massachusetts Governor was Mitt Romney in 2002. Ms. Swift now serves on the board of several charitable organizations and runs an education consulting business
- Swinton, Tilda - Actress (Vanilla Sky, The Beach, Adaption) and mother of twin girls Xavier and Honor, born in 1997. Swinton won an Academy Award in 2008 for her performance in the movie, Michael Clayton

- Taylor, James - (born April 5, 2001) - Had surrogate twin boys (Henry and Logan) with long-time girlfriend (and now wife) Kim Smedvig when he was 53 years old
- Taylor, Nikki - Super model and mother to twin boys Jake and Hunter, born in 1995 when Taylor was just 19
- Terry, John - (born May 18, 2006) - English National Team soccer defender who became dad of boy/girl twins, Georgie and Summer, with then fiancee, Toni Poole, in 2006
- Thatcher, Margaret - (born Aug. 21, 1953) - Former Prime Minister of England from 1979-90. Her twins Mark & Carol were born the year she qualified as a barrister. Sir Mark Thatcher, 2nd Baronet, inherited the baronetcy title after the death of his father in 2003. The Honourable Carol Thatcher appeared on the British TV Reality Show, I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here! in 2005
- Thomas, Richard - Actor (The Waltons) is the father of identical triplets, Gwyneth, Barbara and Pilar, born in 1981
- Thurmond, Strom - The oldest serving senator in U.S. history (1954-2002 until he turned 100 years old) had younger twin sisters - Mary and Martha - born in 1908 when he was 6 years old. Both twins were still alive on the Senator's 100th birthday but Martha passed away in Nov., 2003 and Mary passed away on July 15, 2004 at age 95

- Wilder, Billy - Six-time Oscar-winning director and writer (Some Like it Hot, Double Indemnity, The Lost Weekend, Sunset Boulevard, The Apartment) and father of fraternal twins, Victoria and Vincent, born in 1939. Vincent died shortly after his birth. Wilder died in 2002 at age 95
